Oh, how the mighty have fallen - GR's succumbed to Warmachine.

Hi guys - GR here.

I've been having a bit of a break from the 40k hobby, and enjoying my summer vacation - it's been extraordinarily nice weather here in Denmark.

Anyway, Johan has finally succeded in corrupting me to join his Warmachine sheenanigans - I've been wondering what faction to play with, and after having considered the Trollbloods for a long time, my choice fell on Khador - giant, russian steampowered robots - what's not to like?

Anyway, I'll start off with a small 15 pts jack-heavy/jack-exclusive list - featuring, of course, Karchev the Terrible. However, not wanting metal miniatures (and having an itch in my conversion-finger), I decided to make one myself:

"In Soviet Russia, armour wears you." ;)

More to come soon. :)

Btw, I have no idea what I'm doing regarding this game, and I'm under the impression that we have few visitors from the PP forums - If any of you guys could suggest a jack list feat. Karchev at 15 points, it would be much appreciated.

  1. I'd suggest a Spriggan as your first Warjack.
It's very all-round and will work in many of your lists.
If you want a second Jack specifically for 15pts with Karchev,
I'd chose Torch, but a more versatile choice for other lists as well would be
either the Devastator or the Grolar (not released yet)

  2. "Son, I am dissapoint."

Seriously, though: WarmaHordes models usually just don't do it for me. That said, this may be the first conversion from that universe I actually like, so it seems like your models just turn out amazing regardless of which system they are from.

Take all the time you need away from 40k in order to recharge your batteries of course, but make sure to return every once in a while, okay?

  3. This is an old post so hopefully you will get some kind of notification that a new comment has been made. :)
I read this post and also your post about this in the Privateer Press forums but it didn't mention where you got the claws for the left hand. It think everything else was covered. Thanks and great work!

    Thanks!
